Q%26A+with+LeAnne+Kabrich

Ever wandered the halls during a passing period and came across a new face you’ve never seen and a room number you’ve never heard of? North Central holds hundreds of teachers and staff, some in which you have never seen or heard of. Leanne Kabrich  has been teaching here at NC for 25 years! She teaches AVID, Business math, Geometry, and Precalculus X. NCHSLive!’s Noah Hall sat down with Ms Kabrich to get to know her beyond the classroom.

Q: Why did you pick to teach at NC?

A:  ”It was my first job out of college.”

Ms Kabrich lived in Ohio before moving to Indianapolis to teach. She found out about NC due to a career placement.

Q: How long have you been teaching at North Central?

A: 25 years

Q: What is your current favorite song?

A: “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw.

Q: After a long day of teaching, what is the first thing you do when you get home?

A: Let the dogs out. I have two dogs, one yorkie and a lab-pitbull mix.

Q: What did you aspire to be growing up?

A: I always wanted to become a teacher. I relate to the struggles.

Q: What grade level do you prefered to teach?

A: Any.

Q: If you could be anyone for the day who would you be and why?

A: This is a tough one. I want to be someone who helps people and can change their lives. I am happy with the person I am today, but I want to become more impactful.
