Q&A with Varsity Basketball Player Ajah Stallings

Q%26A+with+Varsity+Basketball+Player+Ajah+Stallings

Q: Who is the hardest player in the MIC to guard and why?

A: Probably Angel Baker from Pike because she is so crafty with the ball and knows how to use her speed and body to score.

Q: How do you adjust your mindset as you go into to sectionals and other championship games?

A: Just having the mindset that we have worked so hard this whole season with an undefeated record, and to lose in sectionals would be bad. So we have to just maintain our focus like we have all year.

Q: What player on the team do you have the best chemistry with?

A: I love everyone on the team but I am closest with Andi Robertson and Taylor Ramey. They are my best friends.

Q: What makes it so hard to beat a team like Lawrence North three times in a row?

A: The hardest part is that they know our game style and speed and know how to adjust with no surprises.

Q: Who do you relate your game to the most in the WNBA?

A: I do not normally watch the WNBA, but if I had to choose one, I would say Maya Moore.

Q: What are your goals for after high school regarding your basketball career?

A: After high school, I want to play all four years of college and ideally take my team to the NCAA tournament.
