Q: Where do you work?

A: I work at the Riviera Club.

Q: How long have you worked there?

A: I’ve been working at Rivi for a year.

Q: How much do you make an hour?

A: I get paid about $8 an hour.

Q: What do you do?

A: I teach swim lessons to kids who are 2-6 years in age. 

Q: How often do you work?

A: During the school year, I only work for an hour on Mondays and Wednesdays. But during the summer, I work every weekday for 6 hours.

Q: What do you enjoy about your job?

A: I enjoy teaching younger kids what I love to do, which is to swim. Another positive is that I am able to connect and interact with hundreds of different kids. 

Q: What are your co-workers like?

A: My co-workers are extremely helpful and fun to be around.

Q: What do you dislike about your job?

A: Sometimes the kids don’t behave during the lesson which can test my patience.

Q: Do any other nc students work there?

A: Yes, Emily Schneider, Reagan Shaar and Keira Kask teach swim lessons as well.

Q: Do you get a discount? 

A: Yes, I get a discount on snack items provided by the club. 

Q: Where is this place?

A: The Riviera Club is located near Rocky Ripple at the crossing of Westfield and Illinois St. 

Q: What is your boss like?

A:  My swim coach at the Rivi is my boss. She is very kind and always gives me tips when teaching kids. 

Q: What are the hours? 

A: Lessons continue throughout the day, but the club hours are 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m..
